Description: This is just one version of a DVD Jacket cover for the Simpson Lumber Company. Simpson Lumber Company was founded back in the 1890’s and they were closing one off their long running Mills. They commissioned a video to be made by North Woods Productions, to capture the last log to go through the mill, as well as highlighting the rich history of the Simpson Lumber Company. 
I thought it would be fun to design a cover that mimicked the look and design of something from the 1890’s. I did my research and came up with this design based on this book cover. I loved how the design came out… but realized it didn’t really match the look of the film. We actually ended up going with version 2.
